Special Park Advisory
Please be aware that visitor vehicles will no longer be allowed to enter High Park at Bloor Street West. The main vehicle entrance is now at Parkside Drive and High Park Boulevard and will be open Monday to Friday and closed on weekends and holidays.
What to expect during the forest bathing experience:
Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to sign in.
You will meet your guide, Emma Rooney, outside the Grenadier Café entrance (200 Parkside Dr, Toronto, ON M6R 2Z3), located in the centre of the High Park.
Find free parking at the Grenadier Café (Monday to Friday).
Expect a 15-minute walk from the High Park TTC Station.
For your convenience, public washrooms are available inside the café.
We will be staying on marked trails, walking at a slow pace, and covering less than 1.5 km distance, but uneven terrain can be expected.
The program runs in most weather, but sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled at the discretion of your guide due to extreme weather. You will be notified by text of any last-minute changes.
Dress appropriately for the weather conditions, including nonslip footwear and an umbrella if rain is expected.
You may also want to have a reusable water bottle with you and a plastic bag, cushion, or kneeling pad to sit on the ground (optional). Be aware that you will need to carry everything you bring on the walk.

The Forest Bathing Studio is designed to be inviting, gentle, and accessible to all participants who want to experience nature in a new way. No prior experience with forest therapy, mindfulness, or naturalist knowledge is required. I’ll begin with a brief introduction into what forest bathing is, and then you’ll have a chance to try it.
